We’re learning Irish in America. Our circumstances are different from Irish people learning Irish in Ireland. This site aims to gather and present things that will help people studying and teaching Irish, wherever they’re based, but especially over here. What kind of things? The clever sheep reference? Monty Python’s Flying Circus, Episode 2: the Flying Sheep sketch. When asked who gave the sheep the idea they could fly like birds, the farmer answers that it’s ‘Arold. “He’s that most dangerous of animals, a clever sheep.”
